Enterprise Minister Arlene Foster has now officially opened the offices, where staff will work with colleagues at the firm’s research facilities in the US in carrying out a variety of advanced software development.
The Minister said: “Just over 12 months ago, on the first day of the USNI Investment Conference, we celebrated the announcement that one of the world’s most innovative software firms would be setting up a research and development centre here with Invest NI support. As we celebrate the official opening of this new centre, we can see how rapidly CyberSource has developed its presence in Northern Ireland, with over a third of its target of 56 highly skilled staff in place. She explained that Northern Ireland’s strong skills base and growing reputation as a global knowledge hub was continuing to attract investment and reinvestment from “some of the world’s most dynamic ICT firms.”
