Backed by a £15 million of government cash, the three-year Scottish Academic Health Sciences Collaboration (SAHSC) will generate 250 jobs across a range of disciplines.
It will also create a world-leading platform for attracting research funds, promoting change in the NHS and driving economic development through high-value jobs and intellectual property.
With its focus on imaging, pharmacy, radiology and tissue banks, it combines the talents of health boards and medical schools in Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
