Leaders of aerospace companies on both sides of the Atlantic discussed ethical business practices at the Farnborough International Airshow on Tuesday.
The subjects of export controls and technology sharing were also broached at the event, as was the Intra-EU Transfer initiative and its ramifications for US firms.

"It's vital that we work closely with our European partners on these issues, and we have solid marching orders on the way forward," remarked Marion Blakey, the President and Chief Executive of the Aerospace Industries Association of America.
"Transatlantic cooperation is essential to tackle environmental and technological challenges," added Francois Gayet, Secretary General of the AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe, which organised the meeting alongside its US counterpart.

Farnborough's meeting saw the attendant organisations agree to improve aviation's impact on the environment, as well as hold an annual international forum to "mark progress and plan strategy".
The European delegation was led by Ake Svensson of Saab, while Lockheed Martin's Robert Stevens and William Swanson from Raytheon represented the US.
