Inver House Distillers was recognised at the International Wine & Spirits Competition (IWSC) 2008, after scooping a series of other awards.
The competition is seen as one of the most prestigious in the world and features independent expert judges carrying out blind taste tests on a series of wines and spirits.
In total, the competition awarded best in class, gold or silver accolades to 15 whiskies made by the firm, which was also presented with 13 medals at the recent Scotch Whisky Masters Awards 2008 and named International Distiller of the Year.

The firm has also highlighted its commercial as well as critical success, reporting a 107 per cent increase in pre-tax profits
