Automotive opportunities in the UK
The Low Carbon Vehicles Innovation Platform was announced in September 2007 and aims to reduce the carbon emissions of the UK's roads over the next 25 years.
Covering all forms of road transport, including cars, heavy goods vehicles and buses, the platform also seeks to make the UK automotive sector a market leader in low carbon transportation, through developing technology faster than expected.
