Stiebel Eltron, which manufactures environmentally-friendly water heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, has established a base in the Wirral International Business Park, in the UK’s North West, to aid its expansion.
The firm revealed the infrastructure in the area provided it with "fast and efficient" access to its customers.

Mark McManus, manager of the UK base said: "We also have ambitious growth plans and the skilled and flexible workforce combined with the potential to expand our premises will enable us to fulfil our ambitions.
"Wirral really was the best fit for our business," he added.

Stiebel Eltron worked with the local council's inward investment and business support team to identify the location which best met its needs.
Kevin Adderley, head of strategic development for Wirral council, commented that there were further plans to expand the business park and attract investment from international firms.
Stiebel Eltron is the largest maker of water heaters in Germany and focuses on manufacturing products that are energy efficient.
