San Diego-based communication firm Qualcomm, which recently obtained 40MHz of L-band spectrum, has announced it will use the acquisition to bring new wireless technologies to the UK.
The spectrum, which cost firm more than £8.3 million, covers the whole of the country and is technology neutral, so can be used to bring new, innovative products to the UK telecoms field.
