This well attended event attracted a cross section of some of the biggest overseas-owned companies in the UK including representatives from Toyota, Tata, eSYS, The Hartford, Hutchinson, Harvey Nichols and Westfields.
His Royal Highness spent over an hour speaking to the guests about their companies and their experiences of doing business in the UK.
The event was organised by UK Trade & Investment to recognise the contribution made by inward investors to the UK economy.
Their investments demonstrate the continued attractiveness of the UK as a leading recipient of high value foreign direct investment.
The Duke acts as an ambassador for UK Trade & Investment.
In this role he actively promotes the UK as a location for inward investment and supports British companies seeking new export markets.
UK Trade & Investment is the Government organisation that supports both companies in the UK trading internationally and overseas enterprises seeking to locate in the UK.
