Gamma Enterprise Technologies needed to take advantage of a growing market for software solutions in Europe.
But to date they are not as well-known in Europe as they are in the US, where they have big clients like IBM, Hershey Foods and Bayer Corporation.
The strategy so far…
Gamma provides software solutions that help companies better manage their SAP systems.
They’d been trying to find customers outside the US but had to rely on reseller networks in Europe.
Growing Market Demand
Then Gamma noticed a surge in interest for their products.
“Companies throughout Europe, like those in the US are trying to solve the problems resulting from growing SAP application data,” explains Mathew Minkovsky, the company’s CEO.
“With over half the worldwide SAP installations located in Europe our new London-based organisation will enhance our ability to serve customers in the region,” said Minkovsky.
Closer is better
This week Gamma set up their first direct presence in Europe and their very first international location.
Their new London team will act as a hub for Europe, providing sales and support to the EMEA region.
The new team will work directly with current partners as well as customers, bridging the geographical gap that has been a barrier so far.
